PUBLIC NOTICE

MONTEZUMA COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Montezuma County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the Montezuma County Board of Health, will hold a public hearing on June 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in the Commissioners Room, 109 West Main Street, Cortez, Colorado, to consider evidence regarding a possible violation of state and local On-site Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) regulations at the following property:

The hearing concerns the failure to provide documentation demonstrating lawful OWTS permitting and the possible existence of an unpermitted OWTS serving the property.

Following the hearing, the Board of Health may take enforcement action as authorized by applicable state and local regulations, including the issuance of a Cease-and-Desist Order and/or other orders necessary to achieve compliance.

Interested persons may appear and be heard.
