Notice is hereby given that the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing for review and determination regarding a proposed 3 Lot Moderate Subdivision and Rezoning Application, submitted by Robert & Silvia Richardson, on property located at 5964 Road 41, Mancos, CO, consisting of 19.88 acres, more or less, located south of Hwy 160, east of Road 41, situated in Section 16, Township 35N, Range 13W, N.M.P.M. The hearing will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 9:00am in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room, Montezuma County Administrative Offices, 109 W. Main, Cortez, CO.
The Planning Department presents for signatures of a Mylar for a Subdivision Amendment for a Common Lot Line Change, to Lots 2A East & 2A West & 2B East & 2B West of the Rolling Hills Estates Subdivision submitted by 842 Holdings, LLC; agents: Sean & Cassi Rooks, on property located at 28255 Road H.6, Cortez, CO, consisting of 40.70 acres, more or less, located north of Road H, east of Road 27, situated in Section 32, Township 36N, Range 15W, N.M.P.M.

The Public Comment portion of the agenda provides the public an opportunity to speak to the Board of Commissioners about issues that are not on the main agenda. Testimony relating to scheduled agenda items will not be allowed during Public Comment.
Rules of decorum will be strictly enforced. Outbursts and interruptions from any person in the hearing room, including shouting, clapping, booing, laughing, or other reactions to the proceedings, are prohibited. Any comments from the public shall only be made by persons who are residents of Montezuma County, who have been recognized by the Chair, who are speaking into the microphone, and only after they have stated their name and address for the record.
Each person will have 3 minutes to comment. No speaker may yield part or all of his/her time to another speaker. Comments shall only be made to the Board. No comments or questions shall be directed to staff or other members of the public.
The Consent Agenda is intended to allow the Board to spend its time on more complex items. These items are generally perceived as non‑controversial and can be approved by a single motion. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by the Board and addressed in Items Needing Individual Consideration if deemed necessary.
Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24‑6‑402(4)(b), the Board may move into executive session for the purpose of receiving legal advice from counsel on any item appearing before the Board on this agenda.
In addition, the Board of County Commissioners shall conduct such further business as may come before said meeting.
