Call Meeting to Order

Public Comment

The Public Comment portion of the agenda provides the public an opportunity
to speak to the Board of Commissioners about issues that are not on the main
agenda. Testimony relating to scheduled agenda items will not be allowed
during Public Comment.

Rules of decorum will be strictly enforced. Outbursts and interruptions from
any person in the hearing room—including shouting, clapping, booing,
laughing, or other reactions to the proceedings—are prohibited.

Comments shall only be made by Montezuma County residents who have been
recognized by the Chair, who are speaking into the microphone, and only
after stating their name and address for the record.

Each person will have 3 minutes to comment. No speaker may yield time to
another speaker. Comments shall be directed only to the Board. No comments or
questions shall be directed to staff or other members of the public.

Consent Agenda

The Consent Agenda is intended to allow the Board to spend its time on more
complex items. These items are generally perceived as non‑controversial and
can be approved by a single motion. An item may be removed from the Consent
Agenda by the Board and addressed in Items Needing Individual Consideration
if deemed necessary.

  • Approval of Landfill Closure Funds Transfer
  • Signature of Letter of Support for the Healthy Forests Grant
  • Approval of Proposed Pay Plan for Road & Bridge
  • Approval of Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Services quote
  • Approval of Letter of Support – South West Health Systems:
    Congressionally Directed Spending for Ambulance Purchases

Item(s) Needing Individual Consideration

  • Discussion related to completion of fiber Irrefutable Right of Use to Region 9
  • Decision on leasing water shares

Executive Session

Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24‑6‑402(4)(b), the Board may move into executive
session for the purpose of receiving legal advice from counsel on any item
appearing before the Board on this agenda.
