  • Call Meeting to Order:
  • Approval of Minutes:

Planning

  1. The Planning Department will present for signatures an Exemption Amendment and Mylar,
    submitted by Charles & Cynthia Thompson on properties located at 20889 & 20893 Road W, Lewis, CO,
    consisting of 3.00 & 5.52 acres, more or less, both located north of Hwy 145, situated in Section 36,
    Township 38N, Range 17W, N.M.P.M.
  2. The Planning Department will present for signatures a Mylar for Phase II of the Lake Meadows Subdivision,
    Phase I and Rezoning, submitted by Mark Cox; agent: Andy Cox, on property located at TBD Road 25, Dolores, CO,
    consisting of 59.27 acres, more or less, located south of Hwy 184 & Road 25, situated in Section 7,
    Township 37N, Range 15W, N.M.P.M.

Other items may be discussed.

Deletions/Changes to Agenda:

Public Comment

The Public Comment portion of the agenda provides the public an opportunity to speak to the Board of Commissioners
about issues that are not on the main agenda. Testimony relating to scheduled agenda items will not be allowed
during Public Comment.

Rules of decorum will be strictly enforced. Outbursts and interruptions from any person in the hearing room,
including shouting, clapping, booing, laughing, or other reactions to the proceedings, are prohibited. Any comments
from the public shall only be made by persons who are residents of Montezuma County, who have been recognized by
the Chair, who are speaking into the microphone, and only after they have stated their name and address for the record.

Each person will have 3 minutes to comment. No speaker may yield part or all of his/her time to another speaker.
Comments shall only be made to the Board. No comments or questions shall be directed to staff or other members of the public.

Consent Agenda

The Consent Agenda is intended to allow the Board to spend its time on more complex items. These items are generally
perceived as non-controversial and can be approved by a single motion. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda
by the Board and addressed in Items Needing Individual Consideration if deemed necessary.

  • Approval of Resolution for BOCC to act as interim county administrator
  • Approval of Resolution for Ballot Measure to Eliminate Term Limits for Assessor, Clerk and Recorder, Surveyor, and Treasurer
  • Approval of Resolution for Ballot Measure to Raise Lodger’s Tax from 2% to 5%

  • Festival Permit for Mancos Brewing – Jerri Frizzell
  • Decision regarding Rubbish Ordinance
  • Discussion with Sheriff Nowlin regarding disbanding the Montezuma County Narcotics Investigation Team

Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(b), the Board may move into executive session for the purpose of receiving
legal advice from counsel on any item appearing before the Board on this agenda.
