Meeting Minutes

Tuesday July 7, 2026

Attendees: Director Bobbi Lock, Assistant Director-Laurel Schafer; Administrator Anderson, Health Officer Hirschman.

Board of Health (BOH): Gerald Koppenhafer, Kent Lindsay and Jim Candelaria.

1. Call to order and introductions: (1:30)

Bobbi Lock called to order the regular meeting of the Montezuma County Public Health Board of Health Meeting at 1:30 on 7/7/2026 at Montezuma County BOCC Room. 

1. Approval of minutes from last meeting and introductions.

• Communicable Disease Update

Measles update.  Flu update. West Nile update.  Animal bite update. Fentanyl test strip update. Rabies update.

1. MCPHD Update:

Budget update. Share budget cuts we received for the new fiscal year.

CNC Program/S.A.F.E update. Will be present at the County Fair, please stop by to fill out our survey and look at resources.

Cattle Crops and Coffee and Pizza for Producers update.

1. Suggestions for next BOH meeting: Health Fair numbers.
2. Next BOH meeting will be held on 10/6/2026.
