Information Technology

Mission Statement
The Montezuma County Information Technology Department delivers reliable, secure, and innovative technology services that enable residents, businesses, partner agencies, and County staff to make informed decisions and conduct business efficiently. In collaboration with all County departments, we design, implement, and support integrated hardware, software, data, and webbased solutions that strengthen government operations and enhance public service.

Vision Statement
We strive to be a trusted technology partner that empowers Montezuma County to operate efficiently, transparently, and strategically. Guided by the County’s Information Technology Master Plan and our Code of Ethics, we envision an adaptable, resilient, and secure technology environment where staff and citizens have the tools and information they need to thrive—without the “pantsonfire” firefighting that distracts from longterm progress.

Values
• Integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all decisions
• Transparency and responsibility in service to the public
• Continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Fair and equitable treatment of all individuals
• Collaboration, accountability, and respect across departments
• Protection of the public’s safety, data, and trust
